PitMad March 4, 2021

Hey all! PitMad is coming up in a few days and I wanted to give a heads up that I’ll be participating as an acquiring editor for Champagne Book Group!

A Little about Champagne Book Group – Established in 2004, CBG is a U.S. publisher with authors from all corners of the globe. Though the main genre published by CBG is romance (including most sub-genres) they also publish some Historical Fiction, Suspense, Mysteries, Thrillers, Sci/Fi, Fantasy and Horror. Now, for my editor bio and MSWL –

Small town Utah is where Jodi calls home. She spends her days in a turn-of-the-century farmhouse, reading, writing, editing and mentoring other writer’s. Her daily companions consist of a rambunctious and adorable toddler, a rowdy Malamute mix, and a very friendly cat, all of whom bring her great joy with a little craziness thrown in for good measure!

Jodi has had a love of books for as long as she can remember. As a child, she filled her backpack weekly at the library, devouring story after story and returning the books early to trade for a new stack. She wrote her first adventure at the age of nine, a fanfic Boxcar Children story, and since then, has let her imagination be her guide. Writing as Jodi Jensen, her debut novel, Sophie’s Key, has found a home at Champagne Book Group via PitMad. She joined CBG as an editor a year ago and is actively seeking the next story that grabs her and won’t let go.

Jodi has long had a love of anything and everything historical, including old buildings and ancient cemeteries. A hobby of hers is to wander these places, wondering about the secrets they hold. Her MSWL includes historical and paranormal romances, time travel romance, Viking romance, Irish and Scottish historical romances, and quirky and unique tales with strong plots. She’s also looking for well-written post-apocalyptic, dystopian, horror, and all-around darker stories – bonus if they include romance! She enjoys the full spectrum of love stories, from sweet to spicy. Above all else, she’s a sucker for a great character.

Best of luck to everyone paticipating in PitMad!! I hope to see you there!
